If you are using MuckRock services as part of a team or organization that has paid for premium features, you can access those premium features by making sure that you’re “working on behalf of” the paid account.
When you are drafting your public records request, you may see a prompt asking you to purchase request credits before you file.
If you were expecting to have request credits available — whether because you purchased a bundle, subscribed to a premium account, or because you’re a member of a team that you were told had credits — you may need to confirm that you’re working in the right team or organization.
If you see a prompt to purchase requests, double check the line that says “You are currently working on behalf of …” — this will tell you what organization you are currently acting in. You may need to toggle between organizations to access credits.
To switch organizations, use the pull down menu below your name, at the top right of the page, to “Switch Organization” — this is where you can toggle between your “Personal Account” and the team account. If you don’t see your organization listed there, you might need to read up on how to Accept invitations.
You can change the organization you’re “working on behalf of” by selecting your name or avatar from the pull down menu at the top-right of the screen.
