Freely compose, organize, and track public records requests with FOIA Machine

FOIA Machine is our self service platform that allows users to write, file and track public records requests to government agencies across the United States. In contrast to our full-service platform, MuckRock Requests, users on FOIA Machine track the progress of their own requests individually.

FOIA Machine was initially funded with a John S. Knight Foundation Prototype grant as well as more than 2,000 people who backed FOIA Machine on Kickstarter. Additional support was provided by the Center for Investigative Reporting.
